The 2017 JDRF Hope Gala theme was inspired by the vibrant culture of Old Havana, Cuba. A 3D artwork was created by incorporating children's paintings of the city's iconic buildings into a street scene. Measuring 40"x30", it became the highest-grossing piece of children's art in the history of the Triangle Gala, selling for $15,000.00.
